Drone façade and roof inspection

Cracks, spalling, displaced tiles and poorly finished flashings, recorded up close without access equipment. Every defect is numbered and located so the repair can be priced.

A close look before setting anything up

Inspecting a façade or roof up close usually means scaffolding, a mobile platform or rope access, with their cost, street-occupation permits and risk. Often all of that is set up just to find out what is there.

The drone does that first inspection with no access equipment: it gets close to every wall panel, cornice, eave or roof slope and photographs it in detail, and from above it shows what cannot be seen from the street, such as the roof, parapets, chimneys or gutters. With the report in hand you can decide whether work is needed, where and with what means.

Visual inspection of façades and roofs

Defects surveyed without scaffolding or lifts

Cracks, spalling, displaced tiles, poorly finished flashings, visible damp. The drone gets close to any point of the façade or roof and records it in millimetre detail, with no access equipment and no risk to anyone.

Each defect is photographed, numbered and located on the orthophoto or elevation, so the report works equally well for pricing repairs, for after-sales and for statutory building inspections.

How we work

  1. You tell us about the building and the reason: a repair, after-sales, a statutory inspection, a sale.
  2. We handle the flight permits and, in urban areas, any coordination each case requires.
  3. We fly an overall pass for the orthophoto or elevation and close-up shots of each defect.
  4. We deliver the photographic report by zone, with each defect numbered and located, plus the original photographs.

Frequently asked questions

Does it replace a statutory building inspection?

No. The inspection is signed by a qualified professional. What we provide is information on the areas they cannot reach without access equipment, documented and located on the façade or roof.

Can you fly in central Madrid?

Yes, with authorisation. Much of Madrid lies within controlled airspace and urban areas have additional requirements; we handle the permits and coordination for every flight, so allow a few days' notice.

What level of detail do you get?

In close-up shots, down to about 2 mm per pixel: cracks, joints and the condition of each element can be told apart.

What do I receive?

The roof orthophoto or façade elevation, the numbered, georeferenced photographic report and the original high-resolution photographs.

Shall we talk about your building or site?
